SINGING IS GOOD FOR THE SOUL!

Following our successful Summer Concerts, STANCHESTER QUIRE - "the community choir with a difference" - will be performing a series of Christmas concerts (see "Performances" tab)

Our last practice for this Autumn term is 21st November 2022.

We will restart practices on 6th February 2023 and run through until 3rd April 2023.

Time: 7.30pm-9.00pm (doors open 7.00pm)

We practice in the very spacious

David Hall, Roundwell Street, South Petherton

TA13 5AA.

In the meantime, start your Christmas 2022 by coming to a Stanchester Quire Christmas concert. Full details of when/where are shown under the "Performances" section.  We will be singing songs with a Christmas theme collected from the South West of England.

Our musical director is Eddie Upton, holder of the English Folk Dance and Song Society's gold badge for services to folk music.

Everyone is very welcome to come and join us; there are no auditions and the ability to read music is not essential as we learn everything by ear.  What's more, the first two weeks are free for newcomers so why not come and give it a try?
